This Privacy Policy explains how StaffCorex ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the StaffCorex mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is a workforce management platform that provides employee scheduling, time tracking, attendance monitoring, and related workforce administration tools for companies and their workers.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: name, email address, company name, and phone number when you create a company or worker account.
• Profile information: profile photo, employee ID, job role, and other information you add to your profile.
• Worker information: names, email addresses, employee IDs, and work schedules submitted by companies.
• Payment information: billing addresses and payment method details processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Support communications: information you send us when contacting support, including messages and files.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Log data: IP address, pages visited, access times, and interaction data.
• Time and attendance data: clock-in/out times, work hours, and break times recorded through the Service.
• Location data: approximate or precise location when you grant location permission, used to verify clock-in/clock-out and support location-based time tracking.
• Usage analytics: aggregated statistics about how the Service is used.

2. Permissions We Use

StaffCorex requests the following permissions only for the specific purposes described below. You can deny or revoke any of these permissions in your device settings at any time without preventing the core use of the app.

We do not request access to SMS messages, phone contacts, phone calls, call logs, or device storage beyond the media you choose to upload.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Create and manage your company or worker account and profile.
• Manage employee schedules, shifts, time tracking, and attendance records.
• Process subscriptions and payments and send confirmations.
• Send notifications about schedules, shifts, and account activity.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With your company: when you use the Service as a worker, schedule, attendance, and time-tracking data is shared with the company that manages your employment.
• With service providers: companies that help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we may transfer your information to the successor entity.
• With your consent: when you explicitly authorize sharing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Time-tracking data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information unless we are required by law to retain it.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 16, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and correction: you may view and update your account information in the app.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us.
